Property: |
Colorless transparent monoclinic crystal,
easily soluble in water,methanol and ethanol, and is
deliquescent in the air. . Calcium nitrate is also an oxidant,
and so is combustible and explosive to organic substances and
sulfur. |

Use: |
Applied to flocculant of rubber emulsion, oil exploration
well, sewage disposal and cement solidification accelerant.
Used as soilless culture in agriculture, fertilizer with quick
result for acid soil. Used in producing fireworks and
lampshade in light industry. Used in producing dynamite in
national defense industry, in coating cathode. And it is also
the materials for producing other nitrates.
